This page says what Simplemath is for and what it is not for, and sets the limits within which you can rely on the results you read.

What this site is for
Simplemath is an educational site. The calculators are here to show how the formulas of financial mathematics and algebra work, to practise with them and to obtain rough estimates. They are not professional quotation tools and they do not replace the official documents of banks, intermediaries, professionals or public authorities.
No advice
The content and the results are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, nor an offer or solicitation to enter into any contract. Using the site creates no professional relationship. Before any decision with financial consequences, consult a qualified professional and check the contractual documents: for a mortgage, the European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS) the lender is required to give you.
Results are estimates, not contractual figures
The calculations apply standard formulas with simplified conventions: rounding, day-count basis, compounding and payment frequency may differ from those your intermediary uses. Results exclude taxes, arrangement fees, insurance, commissions and other charges, and may therefore differ appreciably from the amounts actually due. Neither the accuracy nor the currency of the content is guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
The site and its results are provided “as is”, without warranty of correctness, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. You alone are responsible for what you do with the results and for the decisions you base on them. To the extent permitted by law, the controller is not liable for direct or indirect damage, financial loss or lost profit arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the site, nor for interruptions or suspensions of the service; liability that the law does not allow to be excluded — in particular for wilful misconduct and gross negligence — remains unaffected. You undertake to hold the controller harmless against third-party claims arising from any use of the site contrary to this notice or to the law.

The site may contain links to sites run by third parties. The controller does not control their content and is not responsible for the offers, prices, contractual terms or data processing you find there: the notices and terms of the destination site apply. Some of those links are affiliate links: they are marked as sponsored, and if you take out a product after following one, the controller receives a commission from the partner. The commission does not affect what you pay and does not determine the results of any calculation, which are the same for everyone.
