Which calculation you need

Coordinate geometry turns figures into equations, and almost everything starts from two points. If you need the equation of the line joining them — in slope-intercept form y = mx + q or standard form ax + by + c = 0 — together with the slope, the intercepts and the perpendicular slope, the first calculator does it all in one step, including the vertical case, which has no slope and must be written differently. If instead the segment itself is what interests you, the second calculator gives its length and midpoint, plus the components of the vector from one point to the other: these are the figures behind translations, reflections and every triangle problem set in coordinates.
