Privacy and personal data notice
This page sets out what data is processed when you use Simplemath, on what legal basis, and how you can control it. It is written to be verifiable: every item stored on your device is listed below.

Data controller
The controller is the person who runs Simplemath.online and decides the purposes and means of processing. It may be a natural person: the Regulation requires neither a company nor a VAT number. Use the contact below to exercise the rights described further down.

Calculations never leave your browser
Every calculator on this site runs entirely on your device. The amounts, rates and durations you type are not sent to any server, are not logged, and are not visible to anyone. If you share the link to a filled-in calculator, the values travel in the address you copy: the decision to share them stays entirely yours.
No account, no profile
The service requires no registration, creates no account and links no calculation to an identity. We carry out no profiling and no automated decision-making producing legal effects concerning you.
Technical server logs
As with any site reachable over the internet, the hosting provider records the technical data needed to deliver pages and defend the infrastructure against abuse: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type. We do not use these to identify you or to build navigation statistics.
Legal bases
Technical logs rest on the legitimate interest in providing and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Storing the calculations you choose to save answers an explicit request from you and is technically necessary to provide it. Statistics and advertising rest solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with no effect on your use of the site.
Statistics and advertising
No measurement or advertising script is loaded before you have chosen. If you refuse, or have not yet decided, the advertising slots stay empty and every part of the site keeps working: we operate no cookie wall. Affiliate links on the pages do not track you until you open one; from that point the destination site's own notice applies.
Recipients, transfers and retention
We neither sell nor share data. The only parties who may process it on our behalf are the hosting provider and, if you switch them on, the statistics and advertising providers, each appointed as a processor. Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it, using the button at the foot of this page or by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Changes to this notice
If the tools used by the site change, this page is updated and the date at the top says so. A change affecting purposes that rest on consent triggers a fresh request: an earlier choice is never extended to processing you did not accept.
Statistics with Google Analytics 4
Statistics are provided by Google Ireland Limited as processor; the data may also be processed by Google LLC in the United States, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision and standard contractual clauses. The tag is inserted into the page only after your consent and is limited to measurement: Google's advertising signals (Google Signals and ad personalisation) stay switched off, and only the path of each address is sent, without the parameters that carry the figures from your calculations. Withdraw your consent and measurement stops at once, with the cookies listed above removed from this browser.
What is stored on your device
The entries below stay on your device. If you consent to statistics, Google Analytics adds the cookies listed in the last rows: they are the only cookies this site sets, and they are not created until you consent. Everything else is browser local storage (localStorage), which is never transmitted.

Your rights
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 grants you the rights listed below, exercisable free of charge by writing to the controller, who must reply within one month.
- Access: find out whether data concerning you is processed and obtain a copy (Art. 15).
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data or have it completed (Art. 16).
- Erasure: have data removed in the cases provided for (Art. 17).
- Restriction: ask for processing to be suspended pending checks (Art. 18).
- Portability: receive the data in a structured, machine-readable format (Art. 20).
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent already given at any time (Art. 7(3)), using the controls above.
If you believe the processing infringes the Regulation you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the Member State where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement took place (Art. 77).
Delete the data on your device
This control immediately removes every item listed in the table: consent preferences, saved calculations and matrix history. It affects this browser only and cannot be undone.
